Watchtower.
Your cameras, finally paying attention.

Helios turns the cameras you already own into a place that pays attention. It knows who belongs, notices what doesn’t, and tells you the day in words, from a Hub on your own premises.

Four hundred passers-by. Not one of them a concern.

For years, cameras have been very good at one thing: recording. Helios teaches them to pay attention.

Keep the cameras you own. The jupyter Hub brings Helios to the cameras you already have, so there is nothing to replace. It finds them on your network within moments and needs only their logins. Your footage and faces stay on the Hub at your place, so there are no cloud storage fees, and Helios Essentials needs no subscription.

Helios: the day in words, people, stories and search.

Friday · 9:40 pm · the shopfront

The café closed an hour ago. The street is still busy, and the camera over the door has watched hundreds of people walk past.

What Helios does. It stays quiet for the passers-by and for the staff locking up. It tells you, in one sentence, about the person who lingers by the side door and comes back.

Rules

Type a sentence. Get a rule.

At the heart of Helios is a single sentence box, and no rules builder to learn.

“When staff arrive, send me a footage card.”
“If anyone on the keep-out list is seen, sound the siren.”
“Warn anyone at the back gate after 8pm.”

You write the way you speak, and Helios writes the rule. It reads your sentence, finds the real people, groups and cameras you mean, and lays the rule out in plain words for you to confirm. Every rule is checked against your actual site before it is saved, and a sentence Helios can’t fully place becomes a draft you can finish in a tap.

And when you ask for something no camera can truly see, Helios tells you so, and offers the closest rule it can keep.

A rule, written as one sentence.

Monday · 7:55 am · the back gate

Deliveries come through the back gate in the morning. After dark, nobody should. You type one sentence: Warn anyone at the back gate after 8pm.

What Helios does. It reads it back in plain words: anyone it doesn’t know, the back gate camera, every evening from 8:00 pm, the Halo sounds its siren. One confirmation, and the gate is looked after.

Who

Exactly the right people.

A named person, a face group such as Staff or Family, the keep-out list, or anyone unknown.

Where and when

Down to a single zone.

A zone drawn on one camera, hours and days, the moment someone arrives or leaves.

What

The response you chose.

Notify the right people, send the footage to their phones, sound the siren, or call you and then a number you supply. Calls are part of Helios Pro.

People

Know who belongs. Notice who does not.

Helios learns the people who belong, one confirmed face at a time.

The people who belong, and where each one went, camera by camera.

Add a face

From a single moment.

Open any moment and Helios marks each face it found. Name them, place them in a group, and Helios recognises them across every camera. You can even watch for someone from just a photo, in a few taps.

The keep-out list

Noticed, everywhere.

Add someone to the keep-out list and Helios watches for them on every camera linked to your hub. If they appear, the rules you chose take over at once. The list is kept with care, and every decision is yours.

Noteworthy

Worth a second look.

Someone who may have lingered, entered a restricted zone, appeared just after an unusual sound, or keeps returning at unexpected hours. Each person appears once, with the reasons written plainly. Where the evidence is a judgement, Helios says may have. When the reasons are strong, it suggests the keep-out list, one calm tap away, and always your choice.

The team fades into the background. The stranger does not.

Stories and search

Read the day like a page.

Helios brings the moments that matter to the surface, and lets the rest of the day stay quiet.

Stories

Who came. Who stayed. What was routine, and what was not. A noise at 2 am becomes a few clear sentences, with the moments that matter beside them. Open any day from the calendar and read it like a page, then save the stories you want to keep. Each morning, a short brief of the day before is waiting. Save a story as an evidence pack, with every clip fingerprinted, to share with your insurer or the police yourself.

The day as one story, with what is worth a look set beside it.

Visual search

Ask for what you remember. “A woman in a green dress.” “A white van at the gate.” “Someone carrying a large box.” Helios searches what its cameras have seen by meaning, and brings back the moments, each one ready to play.

“Parcel at the front door.” Found by meaning, ready to play.

The footage card

Tap the small phone icon on a moment in People, Stories or Noteworthy, and it arrives on your phone as a footage card: the clip and the context, ready to watch or share. Or simply ask.

The moment that matters, in your hand.
“Hey jupyter, has my parcel arrived?”

Insights

See who came, who returned, and when it was busy.

The camera over the door already sees every visitor. Helios turns that into numbers you can run the day by.

Footfall, arrivals and stays, against this place’s own normal.

One Friday on a Helios demo hub.

Footfall

People, not passes.

The same face seen across five cameras is one person. Staff are counted on their own, so the numbers describe your visitors.

Vehicles · limited beta

Once each, by plate.

A car that comes and goes through the day is counted once, by its plate.

Time on site

From arrival to departure.

Helios notes when each visitor first appeared and when they left, so you can see how long people usually spend at your place.

The Halo

Helios answers, at the door.

Noticing is half of it. The Halo does the rest.

The Outdoor Halo, at the door.

When a rule calls for it, the Outdoor Halo sounds a loud siren at the door. The person there knows, in that instant, that this place is paying attention.

Design

Understanding first. Controls only when you want them.

Helios opens on the day, not on a menu.

One calm view of the day, in light or dark.

Today

One calm view.

Helios opens on the day so far: who has come and gone, what deserves your attention, and what is happening now. Everything else is a tap away.

Recognition runs on the Hub itself, so faces stay on the property. AI can make mistakes, so check anything important for yourself.

Security, at its best, feels like calm.

Helios understands your words, knows your people, notices the unexpected, tells you the story of your day, and puts any moment in your hand, all in a few taps or a single sentence.

Your cameras were always recording. Now they’re paying attention.
